    Hey all,

I finally got around to setting up my Tunze 3155 ATO last night. My plan is to have both optical sensor and float valve in my sump return area, and my top off will go to my overflow box. This set-up will keep me from worrying about siphoning issues as the outflow tubing will be higher than my reservoir.

My question is this, the tank mount that you screw the outflow tubing onto is not large enough to fit my tank trim. I have my MH pendant cord hanging right near the overflow. It's a thick sturdy cord, so I thought, hey, why not clamp this thing on there. See the pics below of it.

Will this be ok, can anyone think of anything negative about having it clamped there, it's secure but not overtight by any means (crushing/flatterning the cord). The cord is mad thick anyhow & the placement over the overflow is perfect, but I'm just wondering what others think.

BTW I am putting a clear mesh top over the tank on the lip, so putting the mount on the side of the overflow won't really work as it will obstruct the top.

    Thanks for any input!

yes, it's a pretty basic plastic clamp, no metal at all. Thanks for your input. Just wasn't sure how sensitive a MH cord may be, although it's uber thick and sturdy.
