so i moved this weekend. Got my 150 gallon moved. What a pain. Everything is out in containers with powerheads and heaters. I took all the sand out as well. Is it ok to rinse it and reuse or should i buy new? I'd rather save the 200 bucks for something else. Thanks

I would reuse the old sand, not rince it and try not to disturb it,IMO.

I would have liked to just move the tank with the sand and not disturb it. But moving 600 pounds with two people isn't gonna happen. So unfortunately i had to put all the sand in buckets.is it worth saving at this point?

I lost 100% after a move trying to reuse the Sand. I'd just get new

I see your point. If you are going to buy new, I would at least save some of the old. When I ****ched to a 75g, I used some old sand mixed with new and had no issues at all.

Tank is 2 years old. Sand smells pretty bad. I'm gonna get new sand and maybe use a little of the old. I hope it doesnt take too long to cycle. I have about 250 pounds of good rock
