    The Unborn

So I was in the mood for a scary movie; I wanted something creepy. I had see the trailer for The Unborn and thought, 'Ya know? This has to be good.'. Nope. Terrible movie. Yes, it had some startling scenes, but they weren't, IMO, edited into the film as well as they could have been for maximum pooping of the pants. And the story line turned out to be the lamest EVER. So. I give a negatory good buddy on this film. If you are bored and it happens to be on...go for it, but don't spend any money on it (that includes Netflix).

I give it one-half star out of five. Here is the breakdown. There are additions and subtractions. 1/2 star is because Gary Oldman was in it. Don't know why he said yes to the script, but I like him. Another 1/2 star for the old man doing the crab walk with his head on the wrong way. I liked that ONE effect. The additional 1/2 star is for the hot chick.

I took 1/2 star away for poor editing and 1/2 star for the lame story line. Really, the only reason it got anything was the hot chick. I will give any movie at least 1/2 star total for having a female of who is an 8 or better.

Yeah...I know. I should have been a professional movie reviewer. Expect more to come.......;D::)

 I tend to pass on any horror movie that is rated PG-13. "Scary" movies that rely on jarring music to make you jump instead of actual scary stuff just piss me off

Watched A Haunting in Connecticut last week. It was ok. The last real "horror" movie that I've seen that gave me the willies were Wolf Creek and the 28 Days/Weeks Later movies. Other than that, meh.

Thanks for the heads up. I was about to rent it from redbox for a buck. Is the hot chick at least worth a dollar for the rental? ;)

I agree about the horror movies that are rated PG13. IMHO, you just can't go to the extremes that you really need to scare folks on a PG13 budget.

If you really want a good "creepy" movie, get "The Moth Man Prophesies". It is based on actual events and "creeped out" my wife so bad she refuses to ever see it again.

That is the intriguing aspect of it! I watched it 3 times to make sure I "got" the whole thing.

So, you're saying that multiple viewings answered all of your questions?
