My Rose BTA has been on this rock since I got it but as it has grown a little it has gotten close to my toadstool and is now stinging it. I am in the process of moving a lot of my softies to another tank and want to get this one out in particular.

Do I just take a scapel at the base of the toadstool....or would it be best to cut some of the rock off under it?

If you cut the toadstool you may have a baby one grow back where the original one was (or a colony of several). That may not happen, but it is possible, the remainder may just melt away depending on how much you leave behind. I would try and get some of the rock with it.

    Good luck,
