Moving a long spinned sea urchin from a 45 to a 90. Any ideas?

take out all but the top piece of rock and then move the rock when he goes on it. I never had problems gently dislodging any of my urchins though.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Wait until it's on some rock and move the piece over.

Watch for swings in pH and SG from between the current tank and the new tank.

You may want to do a slow acclimation just in case, in a separate container.

I used a bucket one time in my tank. Waited a few hours and it went right in. That way it was not out of water at all
