moving anemone

    ok so ive heard you should move an anemone until the tank has been of 8 months of age. but would it be okay to move the anemone if just about everything but the sand in the old tank is moved into the nre tank

    I have the SAME excact set up as you i got the live rock from someone elses tank with the same anenomes and the tank sat for a day before they got in and they have no probs now so it should be ok.

    he wants to move 2 anemones from the 55gal. tank into the new bowfront.

    he was told that a tank has to be around 8 months old and well established for an anemone to survive. but the bowfront has sand / liverock and was filled with water from the 55, it has also been up and running for 2months now. can he move the anemones and have them survive ?
