    I can not get my Leather happy anywhere. He is mid way in a good flow and he open's up for a day and does his tanning thing....lol... then closes up and hides out.....
    I don't get it!

    I have one leather like that. I am still trying to find a place in the tank for the darn thing...

    very well said my leather coral was moved all around the tank, and now seems its happiest, at the bottom with light flow!!!:)

    i use to do this with my softies a lot. and i still do with my lps. i have recently switched to a mostly acro tank. and sometimes i feel its easier than softies and lps for this reason of moving corals around to find the right flow/light.

    i just blast em with flow and light and they are happy. also makes it easier to maintain great water conditions when you can have 70X flow rate and not worry about ripping the polyps from the skeleton, or a softie off a rock.
