Yes, haven't been in a while but I have been going there since they first opened. Yea Will always has a good selection of corals. And they're good people too.

For sure those places will help you out.... I bet. But if you want some Kordon bags tossed your way, just let me know. This is a link to their blurb. www.kordon.com

I won't be able to use them with my current selection of fish. :)

This is very nice of Renee. Since my first comment I have never strayed away from thinking bags are the way to go. Personally don't agree with the bucket transport and thats just my opinion. I would definitely get in touch with Renee, LFL isn't too far. Like Robman said "that is the way they get to us".

I really appreciate the offer but I talked to my LFS yesterday and they said that if I swing by before my drive, they'd fill the bags with O2 for me. Really, thank you though, never knew how nice people could be on these forums. :)

What part of town are you moving to? I have 50 gallons of fresh RO/DI on hand at all times and could help you out getting it set back up again once you get here if its close and the timing works out. If not I have reef friends all over the valley who can and would do the same for you.

I have helped with numerous moves over the years and found good ice chests or coolers work well for moving if you have the room. I keep 3 or 4 battery air pumps in my spares closet for these moves and have used or loaned them several times. A few attempted to save most of the water and it ends up being a real pain or disaster since is sloshes all over everything.

I am moving to the south Scottsdale area. I have a truck and a trailer, so I was planning on just putting the buckets of water in the back. Hopefully spillage won't be that big of an problem. I have a RO/DI unit so water shouldn't be an issue.

If I bag the fish, do I have to worry about them getting too cold? I will have them in the car with me, so I'm figuring that as long as I keep the temp fine in the car, the fish will be fine as well.

One and a half more questions:

If I choose to bag everything individually, will the bags pop due to climbing elevation? I just drove over there this week to finalize some things and there is a pretty steep climb right out of SD (from about 0 ft to 4000 ft in about a half hour or less)

Should I just bag them loosely?

If you think about it, when our fish are shipped they overnight or 2 day and that means air shipment. Most commercial flights have cabin pressure of 8,000ft. I don't know about shipments and if they keep those compartments pressurized to 8k or if they get to a 30,000ft pressure or not.
Point in trying to make is I think the 4,000ft will be just fine in the bags.
