Ok so ive been posting like mad on the algae thread as i have a VERY BAD case off cyano sisnce my tank crashed at christmas! and to add to the stress im now moving house on the 23rd feb! We have a 2 week change over time frame so we dont have to be all moved in one day but im worried bout how to move my tank and surly its going to make more problems in my tank/ make the cyano worse( not that it can really get much worse!) so what to do & how to do it ?

    My para are as follows
    Ammo 0
    nitrite 0
Nitrate just below 5 ( cause the nasty cyano is munching it!)
cal was 460 2 weeks ago
ph 8.1-8.3 sometimes 8.5 late evenning
    sali 1.126

My tank has 60 uk gallons, 40kg of live rock, coral sand gravel bout 2 inch deep, 1 fluvale 305 with chem media like rowaphos & carbon and 1 fluvale 405 with live rock rubble.
    Live stock -
    1 clown
    1 scooter blennie
    1 cleaner shrimp
    2 peppermint shrimps
1 pink lobser called killer! ( she is very friendly dispite the name!)
    1 sifting star
    1 narr snail
    2 algea snails
    1 large turbo
2 small turbos ( who clean alot more then the one big turbo , it sleeps for like 3 days at a time!)
1 un none hermit that came on my live rock and has been in my tank from day 1!
1 big ridicorda a friend gave me
1 little ridicorda (came on my live rock & also been there since day 1 !)
5 button papl heads ( came on my live rock & been in the tank from day 1 and has just grown a new head making it 6 palps! yay!)
1 rock of green star palp
1 tourch coral with 3 heads a friend gave me

Wow that quite alot! because i only have 2 fish i dont really think there is much in my tank!

Anyway my tank will be 5 months going on six at iur moving date so im a little worried bout the stability off it with the tank crash at christmas and the bad cyano if it will cope with the move!. Luckly we are only moveing 2 roads away so its not to far to go so any advice would be a great help!
    Thanks K

I just love when I read these posts and people list their snails....I could never - there's hundreds !

Anywho. If you search you will find threads telling you what to do. Basically you are going to get tuperware bins to move everything in. Since you're not moving far it sound like you will take it down and back up in a relatively short time. If it drags out you may want to give your fish an air stone and heater.
