moving to bigger tank

going to break down my 37 cube and going with a 60 cube,can i move everything out of one and put in the other tank or do i need to put all new sand in first.

 

I would get new sand and then seed it with some cups of your old sand. You will most likely see a small cycle when swapping the tanks depending on how much live rock you have for the larger water capacity.

I went from a 55g long to a 70g cube and I luckily never saw a cycle. I had about 70lbs of live rock in my old tank and seeded new sand with some of my old. I made the transfer in one evening & had the new tank set-up and running for a few days prior.

not sure which 60g cube you are going with, I have a 30x30x18 Marineland and I love it, very well made.

sure, glad to help. If you're still searching for a cube, check out these that Marineland make, as I mentioned I'm very pleased with my 70g. Great build quality, affordable, have zero complaints. I see a 60g cube they do also but I love the shallow look of mine. My LFS ordered it direct for me:
