Last night I ordered my new t5 light. I cant wait to get it, hopefully it should be this upcoming week. My question is how do I go about getting everything used to the more intense light? Moving everything lower in the tank isnt really an option. Can I go with a shorter light cycle and gradually increase it until I am back to the light cycle I run now? Or should I block off sections of the top of my tank and slowly move the covering to allow more intense light to get to the tank, or will it be ok to just turn on the lights and let it be?

I just went from pc to MH and I shortened my light span to about 5 hours and have been slowly adding. Working great for corals.

Thats good to know. Thanks guys. I am going to take a photo of my tank with pc's and then one with the t5's to see the difference. From what I hear its going to be pretty noticable.
