I have my MP10 set to ReefCrest Mode, with the speed turned all the way up. i was just wondering if i should throw in a K1 or K2? I have a return of course but not sure the head loss and pressure loss with my flared return nozzel? Its a Aqua Medic Ocean Runner OR2500 (650gph). What do you think?

That's about 2100 to 2300 gph since some mo10s have beeb clocked at 1800 gph
That is a LOT of flow 52X turnover rate. I usually reccommend 20-30X but in that situation you should be ok, as long as your coral isn't getting blown over

i was thinking of maybe adding a koralia to my tank to make the current more turbulent. Is this a good idea or not? I am thinking that i might need more flow? The mp10 shifts back and forth through very high flow and very low flow very often which i know is a good thing. But I feel like at some points my sps polyps arent even moving. Should there be any slow water motion with sps? I am also wondering if i have to much laminar flow?
Here are a couple pictures of how my pumps are set up. Take a look and let me know if i should move anything around.

Why not try another MP10 so you can slave it on the same controller and get the benefits that brings? You might get better flow patterns and not have to crank them as you may with one.

I personally have a similar problem with my 36 gallon with a lot of rock and an MP10. I ordered another one this week.

I hear ya on price. I do think that is worth saving for if needed. Good plan.
