Hey all, wanted to hear some opinions on which would be better for my setup. I'm setting up a 75g softies only tank and was stuck between getting a pair of mp10wES or one mp40ES? What do you guys think?

Personally, I would go with the mp40. Then if you decide to get into sps down the road, add an mp10 to the opposite of the tank and take advantage of anti syncing them.

If your going with one 40 or two 10's. then I would go with the 2 mp10 esw. That way you could get that tank a rockin. I have one mp10 in my 56g tall & it gives plenty of flow. I might order a second sometime just to have some super sweet wave makin. But I don't think I'm gonna need it.

I would say get an mp40 and mp10. I have 2 mp10s in my 75 gal. On anti sync mode, reef crest, and 100%. And would like more flow. I only have a few sps but still would like a little more flow.

If I had to do it over again I would get 3 mp10w-es for my tank instead of 2 mp40wes.

Yes placement purposes. One on each end and one it the middle. I am using the mp40s at 1/3 power.

Ive got 2 mp10s synced on a 50G cube and its only running 50% on nutrient transport mode and that is plenty of flow with a descent wave, anymore is to much for some of the corals.
