    Hi All,

Got a new MP10 for Christmas. Out of the box the light flashes green, red. Any ideas? Their website has a very limited set of info. Tried to reset the pump, but didn't work. Thanks.

Try unplugging it and doing a reset... There are great videos on YouTube. The instructions included with the pumps are pretty weak...

Does the propeller spin freely? I believe that's the stall error code which usually means that something is hanging up or the motor and wet-side aren't aligned properly.

Merry Christmas. And congrats on a great pump. Here is the full manual for the pump http://ecotechmarine.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/FULLMANUAL_Revision1.22.pdf

Start from the bottom up. Good luck

Thanks for the link. I got the wet side apart. The ceramic covering on the main shaft is all broken up. I removed the pieces and the pump is working. Should i run the pump without the ceramic covering? Thanks for all the assistance.

I would contact them before you proceed. Running it without could cause more damage, and I'm sure they will have a new part to you quickly.

I agree with mike, hey should give you a replacement. The ceramic is what helps the impeller move as it work similar to a ball bearing.

I would go to the store where it was purchase from and see if they replace it for you and then they'll deal with ecotech.

    Best of luck!
