    Thank you both.

Yeah, that's something I learned the hard way; flat rocks are much easier to work with.

looks great. I love and hate tank builds.

love 'em because they are cool and I'm happy for the owner
hate 'em because I inevitably want to do more to my tank based on the good ideas I see.

Thank you. Yeah, I know what you mean. I still see better now, but I'm happy with it. At least it's not a wall of tightly-laid boulders (finally!). :)

Not too surprised, ATI produce a lot of PAR. It may never change from the discomfort or acclimate to the lights, so hard to tell.

Hmmm... never thought of that. I wasn't going to bother since the discomfort doesn't really seem too extreme, but do you think it might help if I cut the photoperiod back an hour or two for a few days then increase by 15 - 30 minutes every few days or so? It isn't getting worse, but it's not getting better, either. FWIW, I already only run the lights 9 hours per day.

Love the look of the coral+ bulbs by themselves. Think the AB specials will be RIP pretty soon.

Also love the flat rocks. I was so bummed at first when I got mostly flat ones in my order, but now I love them. A lot of flexibility, hope it makes it easy on ya when you start adding more to your tank!

Thank you, although I doubt they'll put anything else under very soon. With the advancement in lighting technology that we've had over the past few years, you can still buy PC 50/50s. lol

It'll definitely be easier than with a wall of round boulders. :)

Thanks, but... I don't have any coralline. It's the bulbs I'm using. :)

To promote coralline growth, make sure you're using a good reef-grade salt mix and reef lighting. Buy one small coralline-encrusted piece of live rock rubble from your LFS. Scrape the coralline off into your tank and let the powerheads spread it around. It'll grow and cover your rocks in no time.
