Coral placement looks great sir. I love the leather. I may have the same one then. I know somebody was telling me mine was a Devil's Hand as well, maybe I have a cabbage like you. :)

    Thank you, Smitty!

Hmmm... perhaps it's the angle of the shot in my pic... the Cabbage Leather is rather thin, flat, and frilly, and turns it's ruffled edges upward, forming a fancy bowl. The Devil's Hand has a plump base with thick fingers growing upward. Also, I have like 8 of them on a 3" rock.

Thank you, Cosmo. I know what you mean- I moved mine twice before I was satisfied with his placement.

Ok, I couldn't see all of that in your picture. Mine doesn't look like what you are describing at all. I just think mine is to small right to properly determine what it is. 8)

Oh no, nothing like that. He took a couple days to expand when I first got him, and a couple weeks to start extending his polyps. Since then, he'll close and shrink when I move him, but only for an hour or so. OTOH, I've never moved him up, just to different places on the bottom. Hopefully you haven't moved yours too close to the light. If it remains closed much longer, I'd suggest moving it back down to where it was last opened.
