Well I guess I am doing something right, ;D he hasn't molted for ever. I was scared at first he was just sitting there not moving for awhile and tonight when I got up to feed the fish there was his old body(shell) next to him. I wish I could have watched him molt, that would have been interesting.

The first time one of my guys molted, i got scared. All i saw was this empty exoskeleton and no crab! Then i found an empty shell. I then saw a bigger shell start to scurry and realized he had just molted and moved to a new shell.

Molting is very cool. My Coral Banded Shrimp does it every three weeks or so.

Should you remove the old exoskeleton or is it fish food?
