    New pictures!

The tank has been cycling with some food and a nice piece of live rock from my other tank.

I'm going to order the skimmer this week...

I really have to say these BoostLED lamps are incredible. Also, the customer service from BoostLED is top notch. Anyone considering their product go for it!

If you notice the white shims under the tank they are there to level it obviously. I'll be painting them black.

I don't have great photo skills so I hope everyone doesn't mind.

I'll be moving the heater to the refugium section when I get the skimmer. The refugium will house my heater and I'll try some chaeto.

Pulled the trigger on the SWC BMK 150! I think it is the best choice considering the space I have in my sump and my overall budget.

I'll post some pics when it arrives!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The lighting sure looks intense. Newbe question, is there a way to add white light to the LED (that particular one). The tank looks bigger than a 30 gal. Good scape, going to be a really nice system with your done.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Corals and livestock are soon to follow in the coming weeks.

dellyjoe: Right now I just have the three PAR 30 LED bulbs from BoostLED. In the future I may try to rig some kind of moonlights.

hey, Im looking to do the same type of overflow in my 30 gal breeder. Could you explain a little information about it and how you set it up? I already have the bulkhead, 90 elbow and strainer. I just want to know how far to install to keep my water level above the black trim.
