I had a LFS drill the tank for me. No way was I going to try and do it myself, lol. I'm not much of a handy man. Anyway, I also thought the water level would be below the black trim when I initially saw where the overflow was drilled. It stays right at the black trim using a Mag 5 return pump that is too powerful for the overflow and is T'ed off to control the flow.

Hard to explain but I'll try to post up some pics of the plumbing.

Nice set up. What color/nm are the leds? I was considering getting the hagen glo t5 for supplemental colors but thoes leds look killer.

Just a quick update... My Coralife T5HO fixture on my 29 gallon stopped working a few days ago. Rather than try to replace it I decided to dismantle that tank and move most of the rock and all of my corals and fish to the new 30 breeder tank.

So far it looks great. I now have most of my old rock in the refugium with a nice ball of chaeto. The skimmer is dialed in and really pulling out some nasty gunk! I'm going to let the tank settle for a few weeks and then get the GFO reactor going!

I'll do my best to get some updated pictures online tonight! Thanks to everyone who has followed this build.

As promised here are updated pictures. Hope everyone enjoys! It's very difficult to capture what it really looks like with the LED's.

Can you send a link to the track heads? I've been looking around and all I can find are the halogen track heads.

    Much thanks!
