So after adding my live rock over a week ago my nitrates went up to 20 ppm and my nitrite went up to 3. I checked it yesterday and right now and now they are both at 0. Does this mean that my cycle is over?

Those are good signs for the completion on the nitrogen cycle, congrats. Just go slow in adding fish from here.

What are some cool predators that would fit in a 75g? I was thinking a lionfish and a snowflake eel.

Lionfish would work, I think the eel would too, just need to make sure.

Would a volitan fit in a 75 gallon?

Might, but it could be a tight fit. Check Live Aquaria for tank recommendations.

I went to my LFS today and picked up a 7" volitan lionfish. He looks very healthy.

Holy cow! hes very pretty, but i would watch your levels very closely for the next week or so, that's a pretty big fish to add to a newly cycled tank. you may have been better off getting a smaller lion that could grow with your tank, instead of outgrow it
