Hi I want to upgrade my 28g nanocube's power compact lighting to LEDs for under $300. I found the Mu Series 135 by boost LED and it looks pretty strong. But will it be enough for SPS, or is there a different light I should purchase?

I have 3 of the BoostLED par30s over my 29g with some SPS. I think the Mu Series 135 should be more than adequate for your needs.

It might be too much for a 28G Nanocube. I'd look at some of the other Chinese fixtures, with dimming capabilities, or, for slightly more $$$, an AI Sol Nano. I had a BoostLED Mu135 over a 86 halfround, and was growing SPS in the top half well. My tank was 25" deep, and light was 6" from water.

WOW that looks awesome! I will probably go with that! DO you know what kind of mounts it comes with?
