    That could be the culprit to the loss of your coral beauty. They might have just picked the same area to enjoy and fought to the death. And as for your chromis, IME sometimes chromis will just lessen their numbers for no apparent reason. (had 3 blue reef chromis who took their numbers down to 2 and have been living happily for months)

    i havent added any fish for a year. the bi-color and coral beauty have been together a year and a half

    aggression can grow with age. especially with angels. and as for the chromis they dwindle their numbers over time. and they prefer to be in odd numbers. just a thought
