Because of space limitations I can only use under my nightstand the tank is on. Unfortunately theres a 2x4 through the center to help brace the sides...I'd need a second opinion on weather or not remove the 2x4 to do a single 10g.

My plan is to run 2 5.5g AGAs
I have the back chambers of my BC set up as a 'fuge' already.
How would somebody go about rigging 3 tanks up to a chiller?

Rio600 for in-tank circulation, a Rio 600 to chiller from the tank, and a mini-jet between the fuges and ??? returning to the BC ?

Just removing the 2x4 probably isn't a good idea. It's there for a reason. However you might be able to replace it with something less obtrusive. Maybe you could cut a 3/4" piece of plywood to fit in the bottom of the stand so that it still has that lateral support. But it's hard to say with out seeing the setup. If you could post a pic that would be helpful.

As for setting up the chiller, it shouldn't be to hard. Just make sure the temp probe isn't around the return from the chiller. I would have the intake for the chiller at the start of the fump/fuge setup and the return for it right at the main return pump for the tank. That way the cooled water doesn't get pumped into a small 5.5gal tank and is disbursed into the main tank first. I am by no means a pro but that would in my opinion give the most uniform temp throughout the whole system.

Its like that w/o the swivel base at the top.

I wasn't sure if it needed more support, but I added two 2x4s - one under the cabinets and one between the cabinets and the top deck.

Its just a 14G + 10G (or 2x5.5g) whats that in total weight? About 200lbs tanks included?

Put a stinger along the rear of the stand and knock the center 2x4 out the stringer can be a 1x 2 or 3 like whats on the front in the picture is fine.
