    This was no small hermit. This is what I just found.

    I did notice what looks to be a claw inside a dime sized hole/crevice in this rock. I also saw it flinch when a fish swam by. Any guess as to what it is and if it could be the culprit?

    Do you have FL liverock? Its known to have mantis shrimp that will readily eat your critters.

    How loud will it be and how big do you think a Mantis would be to do this?

    I did have the case of the disappearing Skunk Shrimp 3 weeks ago. I didn't even find a toe nail.

    Mantis shrimp have spears, so anysize could take one down pretty much. I would take that rock out ASAP and take some wire cutters to it, starting at that hole and working my way back. There is a number of things that could be in there.
