    Hey all,

I could use some help. My tank is doing rather well. Growth is a titch slow, but continuous over the last six months. Colors are looking good.

My problem is my water is a bit murky and it keeps the tank from looking it's best. I don't mean a big bloom or anything, just turbid. Coral Snow has little to no effect.

    Any thoughts?

Run a bag of activated carbon thru a high flow area. That should help.

Maybe a small bacterial bloom? UV? Just guessing. What is coral snow?

Coral Snow is a floculant that helps clear water. It's not a bloom. It's been too low grade for too long and I have to believe a bloom would ultimately get worse or better. Maybe not.

I did just start UV, but I'm not sure if the unit is still any good. We'll see how that goes.
