Stability by Seachem really helps, and won't hurt anything.

Are you sure that what you are seeing is not just a dirty tank glass? where the diatome has settle!? you need to post some pics, to really know what you are talking about, the glass can get diatom just over night.

Water looks more green to me than yellow. Might be a phytoplankton bloom you have going. Other than that, your tank looks perfectly normal for a new tank. Just let the tank finish cycling, keep running carbon and change it often. Enjoy the white sand while you can because it won't stay that way for much longer :)

not bad at all, with some time it will clear the thing here is your filter might not be rated for the amount of water you have, but hopefully it will pass, if your tank already has cycle?!?
I would make small water changes since your live rock has to have a lot of die-off. but don't worry, unless you have a pump moving lots of water per hour it will take a little longer, almost forgot if you are cycling add an air stone, power head to help with all the decaying matter.

The canister filter that I am using is rated up 75 gal. Mine tank is a 58, so should be sufficient, I think? I am also running two Penguin 660, I think, powerheads.

The tank will be one month old tomorrow, and I have yet to cycle.

if that is your case, that might just explain the murky water, see if you can trade the filter for something greater but it will be ok after the 5th week or so or add a hang on back one if you don't like starring at the murky water..lol
