    hello all!

So i asked on other sites what this is and some said a sort of mushroom coral, im not sure that is correct. iv had this tough SOB through out the whole cycling period of my tank, there were a couple smaller ones but they quickly detached themselves from the rock and drifted to oblivion. this one guy persisted and iv taken a strong liking to him or her or it.... whatever...

today i did a 10% water change and when i was done adding the new saltwater in he had closed up in a very tight round ball like shape, i got a heart attack thinking i might have dosed my salt wrong and killed it, but soon later he reopened up and was happily waving around as he usually does. at night he closes up a little as well and seems to be active only during the day.

anyway let me know what it is!!!
im hoping its some kind of baby annemon, with blue lights the body is green and the tips blue.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I believe it's a mushroom as well, perhaps a type of Rhodactis. Not unusual for them to close periodically, he might have caught something to eat.

K+to Corailine.Looks like a hairy mushroom( Rhodactis) to me.
    Hairy Mushroom
If it makes you feel better you could consider this a baby anemone.

That's one obvious Rhodactis if I've ever seen one....Tough little thing if I might say so myself......
