Nah I think that Tangster is talking about mushroom anemonies. I'm talking about Ricordia Floridias, red musrooms etc. The lovely kind.... lol.

That’s the thing about common names and all like the term Ricordia Floridias is also a mushroom anemone.. Actinodiscus is the entire family that all of the rest are just a sub species of.. And to many biologist they are still not sure if these are a anemone sub species last I talked to one. I don't like to get that deep into big names and words It confuses me .. I'm just a simple old country boy just passing through.. :) But Ricordia Floridias is a mushroom/anemone coral in the family of corals Actinodiscus .. Just some are more frilly then others and cost more .

Now I'm sure there are smarter longer winded guys here that can elaborate or tell me I'm wrong ? But thats what I was told about these corals . I despise the tank roaches as well and I can't totally kill them out ): Thats why I'd never let one near my tanks.

Linda I had a guy to give me 3 of the orange /reddish and 2 or 3 of the blue Mushrooms and I had them to actually to wipe the entire tank out of its LBPS and SPS corals even over grew clams .. I tried to use a syringe to inject them with any and everything I could think of Moonshine to Gasoline even took liquid Sven and even Durasban pesticide nothing would kill them.. I had to break the entire tank down.. So I hung them As it reminded me of some Jobs I have gone on in some parts of Richmond Take a control cover off of a boiler or panel box and or cut a basement light on and the bugs where everywhere and nothing I guess would kill them LOL
