I bought two single mushrooms that were huge at the lfs and now they are the size of a quarter maybe. I have had them for 4 days and all of the other coral looks nice and big. I have 6 54 watt t-5's during the day and 9 moon lights on at night. Here is a pic of one of them. Thanks for the advise.

shrooms are one of those funny acting corals. They close up for days and open back up and are fine. They are probably just acclimating.

I tested my water last week and everything was good except nitrate I think it was a little high. I always get nitrate and nitrite mixed up. I have them pretty close to the light could it be too much?

shrooms dont usually like high light. They seem to open up when at the bottom of tank.

Just for my own curiosity, what is "high"? Nitrates could be and nitrites would definitely be an issue.

no one has mentioned flow ?

if its in a lot more flow than it was before it will be small/ closed up
until it acclimates but if its way to much it wont open back up at all
