it sounds to me that you're using the aiptasia x properly. I doubt this thing expires since I had a bottle that I use every 4 months when new aiptasia pops up without problems. You are also supposed to turn all your pumps off.
Shrooms are kind of hard to kill and the one time mine looked pretty bad was due to an alkalinity overdose. I know u don't have a kit for it, and u don't need to buy one if u don't want to, but can u take some water to your LFS and have it tested for alkalinity?

Edit: I just saw u have 9.9 alkalinity. Is that measured in dkh?

Are these mushrooms placed right next to Goniopora, I can not tell from the images to be sure?

Well... you can measure alkalinity in dKH and in meq/L. But nevermind my question. I doubt there's any test kits out there that would measure more than 5.7 or 6 meq/L.

I'm honestly not sure why your shrooms are melting. Like I said, the ONLY time I had problems with mine were due to a very sudden spike in alkalinity, that's why I was asking.

I hope you can sort this out, bobsecrtsn. Best of lucks, bud.

Yes. But there are other shrooms that are efftect by it from the other side of the tank. Is it possible that the mojeno secretes out chemicals or is there a chemical warfare going on? How do I rid of the problem if there is a possible chemical warfare. Should I buy a poly filter pad? If that would help it.

Did you have a temperature spike sometime around the time of the dosing? Was it hot in the house? Maybe a little too much light?

Some corals cannot stand higher temperatures. I know this from past experience.....Due to a temperature spike a few years ago, my entire tank went belly up, and yes, this can cause corals to melt.

Hmmm... Mushrooms, in my experience, will survive when other corals fail.

Except for owning several colonies and some fragging, I don't know a whole lot about Mushrooms....I'm baffled.
