mushroom?

    This just popped up in my tank I think it kind of looks like a mushroom?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It could be a mushroom/Actinodiscus type or it could be Palys/Protopalythoa, I am leaning towards palys or Zoanthus.

    They are right next to some ZOA's but it is brown and transparent so I wasn't thinking the were but when the blue lights were on there was a glow in the middle.
    Is that how they start out?

    They could've lost their color for a number of reasons, including being stuck in the shade for a while before finally finding their way back into the light. They're definitely polyps, and most likely drop-offs from your colony, although it's always possible for a different species to have hitch hiked in.
