    hey one of my shrooms just all of a sudden scrunched up and got dark. all the others on the rock are looking sweet. anyone ever seen this? all i did was feed my fish and change the length of the skimmer inlet tube????

    its hast moved and is all shriveled up and dark in color

    I would leave it and see what happens. Mushrooms are pretty tough. You can test the water and see what it looks like.

    ok well i just checked temp and somebody turned my heater up...a lot temp was like 86F what should i do its down to like 84 now and more of the shrooms are looking dead. will they come back out? should i turn off my lights?

    Yes, turn off the lights and run a small fan over the surface of the water to speed up the cooling slightly.

    Hrm, the heat is a deffinent issue that needs fixed.
    However since you stated it closed up after feeding your fish.
    Theres a good chance it caught a piece of food and is going to town on this.
    This is normal, as mine will do the same.
    Get your temp down and recheck
