    Well after 6 months they haven't 'taken over' anything in my tank. They grow slow enough to where you can take measures if need be. At least that's my opinion.

    I would say that mushrooms are my favorite as well. I really want to have at least 1/3 of tank to be shrooms lol. I want to get some different colors in here as well, but I am in the middle of moving and getting enough equipment/money together to get my 40 breeder set up. Here are a few pics of the green and red ones that I have.

    This one just split within the last two weeks on its own. Very awesome.

    This where I had to move the red one to so that it would finally open up all the way. It is in the middle of the tank now in a low flow area.
