This is coming together nicely!!

I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent. eeeeekkkkkk!

 

So it s been a while since i updated, so here it goes. I have been very busy and not able to do much work not he tank recently but today I just finished the coast to coast (pics soon). I have purchased all the bulkheads and PVC plumbing with the exception of the long down tubes for an additional $65, so Im still on budget. The stand is stained and polyurethaned which was also finished today. Im hoping that by sunday the tank will be on the stand and mocked up so that I can see where to drill the holes in the floor for the plumbing. I still have a few lights left to purchase and am thinking of doing a DC pump instead of the external Hammerhead I have for the return pump. Im starting to get anxious. Seems like this build has been going on for ever!

So the coast to coast / bean animal overflow is officially done. The tank has been moved inside, placed on the stand and leveled. I had no idea how big it would actually look! Hopefully things will start to move along a bit faster!

 

Thats my granddaughter in the tank for perspective!
