    well water just went in and about half way filled i noticed i have a problem. my center peice brain coral floats ::) what should i do?

    wiegh it down heh , try soaking it in water for a while

    i tryed holding it down but i t would take over night i put some rocks on top of it and it's holding it down we'll see what happends in the morning

    Glue it down. Is it attached to a piece of rock or something that is floating? Maybe chip/saw it off the rock and reattach to something else?

    EDIT: Nevermind I think you're referring to the skeleton you have not live coral. Dunno what you can do about that except try and weight it down or find some way to saturate it with water.

    get some smaller rocks and glue them under it then bury the rocks your glued under the coral skeleton. that might work.

    finally gave up after trying everything my new center peice is a conch shell

    Just epoxy it to the bottom, simple and easy. Also, go back to the island aquascape, that looked real good and the space helps add dimension.
