why dont you look into a coast to coast overflow and doing a beananimal drain system. To me and what ive researched its one of the best overflows and the beananimal is pretty much failsafe drain system.

That is what I plan on doing but now with the coast to coast type of overflow I don't know what to do to many options. I do like how the coast to coast is a 99.99999999% fail safe.

Now that I have read up on some other overflow deisgns and am not sure that a single overflow would do the job? From what I have read you need to do 10x your aquarium through your sump right? if so then I need an overflow that can handle 1000 GPH right? would a single overflow be able to do such a thing? Or maybe a coast to coast overflow would be best for my needs?

So if I am correct to do a normal overflow I would need a drain 1 1/4" in diameter to achive around 1000 gph?

Yea I think that is what I am going to go with and have it drilled at the factory before they deliver it to me so that way I don't have to worry about drilling I just got this Google Sketch Up last night it is pretty cool I am working on a sump and plumbing now!

    More Pics later.
