a few weeks ago, i got a new peice of coral; one of my fish kept nipping on it, and at last i took the fish outlet it in a jar with no heat nor filtration. Surprisingly, it is still alive, i am thinking of giving it to a local reefer.

Ironically I left a jar on top of the corals for a day and took it off and the fish hasn't touched them since. So, that's pretty awesome. I thought I would update with a few more pictures since I had a little time to take some new ones. So here is one of my fish and day/antics of my green star polyps. I'll post my zoa's next.

Here are my zoas. I'm worried about the one on the sand bed it had some issues with my lights at first so I moved it down there. It seems to be opening and closing as it should now and seems happy.

Anyway here are day\antics of my zoas as well.

Ah heck a few more of my hermits, my giant snail and my illusive dottyback. Then a close up of my first coral... came with my live rock. My star polyps.

I have, what i would call, a large amount of coralline algae growing. I know it is just starting but what is in the pics amongst the green algae has popped up in the last few days. I know my rocks are green, to me that's fine. My snails and crabs love it so they keep it cleaned up to a nice looking amount. I figure if I have coralline I'm doing just fine. :)

Anyway, a full tank shot, with a pick of coralline growth, a couple coral pics, and a bonus of my hermit sitting in a hole on my live rock almost as if posing for the picture.

Thanks! I realized how it hasn't even been 2 full months and how far everything has come I am actually pretty proud of myself.
