Thanks for the compliment! I love my tank too! I do 25% water changes about every 3 weeks. (Small tank...so its cheap! Might as well.) Filtration: This is a pretty standard set up for the nano-cube but I have modified it a little. Its got the standard sponges and carbon. I also use phosguard regularly. Got a Fission nano protein skimmer where the carbon used to be. I glued in another shelf above the return pump and now have the carbon bag and phosguard bag sitting there. I also got a heater in with the skimmer. I keep the water at 78 Deg. Feeding with DT's, coral vite, brine, mysis, etc. I also target feed appropriately. These guys grow and multiply super quick! I got the same set up in my 6 gal. Thats where the frags and extras go for now.

    OK... I am just sick!

Just got back from a 1 week trip to Freeport in the Bahamas. Talk about beautiful! Did a ton of snorkeling and It was just awesome! Reefs were incredible.

Get back home.....and my tanks have been boiled! A/C got turned off and the guy that was taking care of my tanks didn't notice how hot it was until it was too late. He came in on the afternoon of the 5 day and said the house temp was 95 deg. and the tanks were reading in the high 90's as well. So needless to say....Just about lost everything! Some mushrooms, polyps and zoas survived. The hermits survived. One tank had an anemone and as you can guess that killed all in that tank! Lost all my ricordea, lots of paly's, the goni, all my frags, and of course all my fish!

Like I said....I am just sick! Still trying to see what I can recover.

I'm really sorry to hear about all your loss. Unfortunately, it sounds like you are forced to learn your lessons the hard way. Please do yourself a favor and invest in a good chiller. A tragedy is only pointless if we don't learn from it.
