its been a year this month that my tank has been running, I started with just base rock and one piece of live rock and I am just starting to see corraline on my rocks, its pretty exiting. I am a stay at home mom and I try to support my hobby with mowing my neighboors yard in the summer and clearing the snow in the winter. So I have been buying small frags, 5 bucks here and 10 bucks there and I am gonna watch them grow. Enjoy the pictures.

Nice tank. Funny how when we start a year seems so far off and then we blink and it's been a year and a half. :)

Congrats on reaching the 1 year mark, and making it work. Looks good.

I believe he meant is that what they call an electric scallop? They have the ability to produce light.

reef sand, I used to have the sugary sand and I hated it, it was blowing all over so I siphon it and bought the reef sand.

It did not always looked that clean, I battle cyano for 6 months and it made my tank look crappy, I won the cyano battle:cheesy:
