Well i received the replacement for my mandarin that died and two days later this one died as well. Im not sure what is going on, but I dont believe it could be anything from my tank since both had only been in the tank for 2 days and I have plenty of healthy fish that are doing fine, and I added others at the time I bought the mandarin and everything is doing well. I also dont think it could have starved itself in two days as well, considering the fact that I have a TON of live rock and a seeded fuge.

Do these fish not ship well? I do not know if I want to get another one, I may just take the credit and purchase something else. I feel im cursed!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It might have starved it's self enough prior to purchase that acclimation caused too much stress for it.

Unless you are adding pods routinely the amount of pods will not be sufficient, even with all the LR the tank is just not old enough yet.

Frustrating for sure, are you going to try another?

    Well some bad news...

I had a tomini tang in the tank that became way too aggressive. I have no clue why this fish decided to do it but it really had it out for my blue jaw, and a couple nights ago I heard a big splash and looked and the trigger was freaking out spazzing all over the tank. I woke up the next day, tore my tank apart trying to get the Tomini tang out (the blue jaw is my favorite fish) and finally got him out. I took him to the LFS and redid my rock and everything settled in nicely, with no signs of the trigger.

Got home yesterday and found my trigger dead. I guess the stress from the Tomini got to him and it was too late. It has my pretty bummed, and I dont really like the way the rock looks now.

Dang!! That is a huge bummer. :-/

Yup I never get the rock work to look the same after I have to move it.

I hope the fishy troubles are over and you can just enjoy the tank for awhile.
