    How old was your tank when you added the birdsnest? I am planning on getting one... mine is now 8 months running....

    I added my birdsnest about 11 months. I had t-5's when I started them and now that I have MH on them they are growing like crazy. Put em in good flow and watch the algae. I would say you could do a birdsnest right now
