    ok, tank is starting to cycle. Been up just over a week. levels are as follows:

    Temp: 78*
    PH: 8.2
    Nitrites: .25
    Ammonia: .50
    Nitrates: 0
    Salinity: 1.023

    well today picked up 3 pieces of live rock to seed my base with. Tossed them in the tank and will see the magic happen :)

    Yeppers :) I also noticed some brown starting to form in the sand and it seems to be spreading. I think that is good news......

    ok, checked the water again today and things are moving in the right direction:
    Ammonia: 1.0
    Nitrites: .25
    Nitrates: 10 ppm
    PH: 8.1-8.2
    Salinity: 1.022
    Temp: 78
