ok, here are a few pictures. It is plumbed and ready to rock. I got my uv steralizer today and need to go get some tubing ti hook it up, then finish setting up my protein skimmer after I get the rest of the water. I think im getting another 70 gallons tonight, and if all goes right might even have the thing up and running. Depending on time of course. Well, here is a few pictures, and I havnt had time to tie the wire up yet, so please excuse the nest of wires.

Very nice man!!! I like it!!!

Just one question, did you ever consider making a canopy and possibly installing retrofit MH/T5's? That would of worked out wonderfully!! But regardless, it looks mint!!

I thought of that, but didnt want to mess with trying to resell the light and all, so figured I would just use it. It provides plenty of light.
I added another 30 gallons to the tank tonight, and have another 30 gallons in the works. Tomorrow night we are going to get 40 gallons from my my buddy Jasons tank and she should be up and running!!!

well, got her up and running tonight. Water is in and she is going to town. I think I have abit too much water flow, as its noisy as all get out with 2 pumps running, and there is alot of air bubbles. When I unplug the smaller of the 2 pumps she quiets right down and runs perfect. Im going to try cutting the pipes off tomorrow and see if that will help with the noise. I might also make a lid for the sump to try and keep the noise to a minimum. Or just run one pump and tee off of it. Ive currently got an 850 gallon per hour and a 1400 gallon per hour running in there, with MAX 4 ft of hose each. Im going to the store to get a damsel right now, and will be back in abit and get some pictures.

here are a few pictures. Its abit cloudy right now but hoping that goes away here relativelly soon. Also, ive got a bad gurgling in the sump im trying to get rid of. I think the holes I drilled are causing it to gurgle air really bad. If I unplug one pump, its fine, but as soon as I plug one back in, its all over and starts gurgling like crazy. Anyhow, here are a few pictures. im goign to add abit more water so there is 8 or 9 inches of water in the sump. It only raises about an inch right now when I cut the power, so we should be good to go.

ok, well tonight I put a water polisher on the tank to try and clear it up abit. i also took out the all glass overflows and made my own durso stand pipes. MUCH MUCH MUCH better!!! To anyone who is buying a new tank, save yourself the money and just make your own durso pipes. They are literally 10 times as quiet as the all glass ones were. Still some bubbling in the sump that I need to either get worked out, or just let it go and get used to it. Hoping it will be abit clearer by tomorrow!!
