Hi everybody, I've been lurking around for a while now but haven't posted at all. Well I wanted to break the ice with some pictures of my setup with my DIY stand, Canopy and sump. Enjoy.

I like how the front panel comes off so it's easy to get a sump in and out of there.

If you mean the color, it looks like a red mahogany.

It does look like mahogany. I am staining my stand and hood as we speak but the stain I have chosen has some serious fumes that I dont want to put it back on the tank. I can smell it and it has been a week. I also did mahogany. It looks very good like this, but stinks to all hell..

lol. Staining your canopy at 3:00 in the morning? Maybe a sealer over top of the stain finish would help with the bad fumes?

Thanks for all the comments. The stain I used was satin bombay mohogany by minwax. It's so gratifying looking at the tank after putting so much work into building pretty much the entire set up.
