Totally agree about the ato. My ato is one of the best things I have done for my 14 cube. I wouldn't run a biocube without one now! I top with limewater and it holds calc and alk really well with all my sps sucking it up.

I agree, the last biocube I had did not have an ATO. I topped it off a couple times a week. Seeing this ATO run 3-4 times a day makes me realize how bad that was haha.

Ah! What a good idea....I never thought of adding that into my reservoir. What suppliment do you add? how much do you add? I just started adding some sofites (zoos).

    Some more upgrades!

:confused1So, the most recent of the upgrades is the Nano Phosphate reactor in the 1st chamber!

-Reactor is a minimax desktop rector. Fits perfectly in chamber one. I was able to remove my stock carbon filter and replace it with the reactor.

The media in the reactor is Rowa Phos PO4 and SiO2 absorber

I also took previous advice and added another powerhead in there. Its a Hydor 240gph. Right now I have it on a timer. It comes on for 2 hours ever 2 hours.

I also added poly filter floss into chamber two. Couple of the guys at the LFS said it was pretty good stuff, and worked well in their aquarium. So, well see how it works for me!

I really want to go rimless with the biocube! I just have to figure out how with all the water in it!:confused1

Its been a long time since I have posted.....I have seen a pretty good amount of coral growth.
    -I upgraded to a 29g biocube....def ready for a larger thank
-Dosing red sea ABC foundation with ABCD colors
-NOPOX is on an automatic 2ml/day dosing pump
-I do a water change roughly once a month with stable params

Duncans: It started off with one head. It has QUICKLY multiplied. I dont really feed it anymore, but it still grows fast.

It probably should only be two fish, however its a few more.
2-Maroon Clowns (one is 3 inches the other is 1.5) =
-yellow watchman and a pistol shrimp (they have been paired for a little over a year)
    -1 cardinal

The rest of the tank is just hermits, snails and a serpent star.
