My 14gal Biocube

    well its due time for me to get some feedback, tank has been up 11 months, this was my first sw aquarium. please tell me what you think :)


    heres my setup

    14 gal bio cube
    modded hood (72 watt)
    2 50/50 bulb
    1 10000k bulb
    oceanic biocube skimmer
    oceanic biocube uv sterilizer
    maxijet 900 return pump
    koralia nano 240 powerhead
    15lb fiji pink sand
    19lb premium live rock

    i use kent reef salt dose with kent nano a/b, and use purple up for Coraline growth

    I use ro/di water but didnt at first, WOW what a difference

    livestock
    yellow watchman goby
    coral beauty angel
    various hitchhikers, snail, stars, etc
    6 hermit crab
    1 emerald crab

    Get that CB out of there..14g is WAY to small for a CB.

    But besides that, nice 14g.

    theres a really tough red algea (not cyano) that nothing would touch, apparently tangs like to eat it but my lfs didnt have a tang small enough to suit my needs. The cb is taking care of it slowly but surely

    Yeah, i see it..IS it like that hairy kinda stuff on the top right rock? looks nasty..haha
