it can be set up a few different ways but it is pretty simple. You can do it right under your kitchen sink if you'd like. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine. If you can't seem to get it or don't have any instructions, then we can help you out. I have a sink in my garage so I decided to hook mine up to that. So this is what mine looks like now..no need for the barrels, I just like the storage for top off water and water changes(and they were cheap). You can see the RO unit on the wall, it is a simple 4 stage and then the DI is resting next to the top barrel. This is my last stage. This gets my ppm to 0. My ppm on the tds meter is like 157 from the tap. Maybe you can check that first and see how high it is, then decide.

Congratulations on the tank, with patience a great reef forum to help(3reef), you'll have a beautiful reef in no time(or about a year). Have you given any thoughts as to the livestock you plan on keeping, if it hasn't already been mentioned.

I have somewhere between 220-240 lbs of rock. I still am not sure if I like that much in there. When I had like 150lbs it was easier to aquascape. With the tallness of the tank though I thought it would look good with more rock

how did you added more? just got 150lbs and then just added more over time?
wont that affect your cycle? or was it base rock and that doesnt have any special effects? like clouding the water a whole lot..,,
