    Thanks!!

I will.....It's nothing I would put a patent on, but with a good push stick and shop glasses on (cause I'm on the end that all the crap shoots out from) it's a heck of a lot easier to make straight cuts with.

    No and Absolutely......

I'm not sure yet how I'm gonna get my sump room, but I've already been up in the attic, and the junction box for the fan is going to be a breeze to relocate. The fan is a small hurdle compared to raiding the guest shower. The way I see it, it's either a 4 bed, 3 bath, or a 4 bed 2 1/2 bath with a 6 foot reef tank in the middle. I just have to convince my better half that the second option is a lot cooler. Maybe I should leave this thread out on the computer "by accident"...lol

i have always wanted a tank that was behind a glass wall in the bathroom so that you can watch the fishy's while you relax in the tub ....you have close to my perfect room layout...maybe she's like me and would like a reef spa bathroom and then you can spend a fortune on corals lol
you can't make your plumbing a little further away and steal the bedroom closet?

HAHA, that would be pretty sweet, I wish I had a tub in there instead of just a stand up shower.

Ok, so I had to cut the dry wall out from the ceiling so I could get the canopy and upper cabinet support in place. New studs up top and a 1x6 fascia begin to form the basic shape of the cabinets. I stapled some blankets to keep the hot air up in the attic after I was done.

It was a bit challenging trying to mirror the angle from the floor drawing up to the ceiling. They both need to be perfectly angled to each other so things don't looks funny. It's difficult when the only thing I have to match up to is blue tape on the floor....lol

Gotta say I am living this build like the thought you're putting into it, starting a wall build myself what are your thoughts on only being able to view one side?

Well, I've been looking at a LOT of photos of large tank builds. One I saw was a peninsula build that took the photo from an angle. My initial draw out was for a one side design, but I'm thinking about a quick redraw and have a 2 sided view, like the 2 foot, and 6 foot faces showing, and somehow cut one of my storage shelves out to open up the 2 foot side. Bad part is I've already bought all the materials, so I need to make sure I don't throw off the budget.
