That's what sucks seeks like you're always changing plans during the build, I might make my tank apart of the wall but still have it viewable from so the back will be the wall and all the equipment will be in the fish room

Part of every major decision is knowing how to confidently change your mind for the best. I've already got a new idea in my mind for this project that'll definitely make for more viewing pleasure and won't kill my budget, and I'm already happy I saw this before and not after. I guess this is what makes me love building large projects. Everything is very fluid (no pun) as it goes along.

Awesome build, I would've done the same and started then told what was going on.
Love the ghetto/ ingenuous table saw.

;D Thanks Skyfire, remember I was asking questions about your new build a while back. I have been gearing up for a while now. Very stoked it's on the way, and I'm glad to see you are working on your new tank as well. ;D

Electric and lighting need to go in before the walls get sealed up again....
Recessed lights and some brand new GFCI outlets to replace the old standard ones.

Having lights makes working a lot easier....

You might have already mentioned this, but are you making it a reef or FOWLR tank?

Everything's looking great, by the way! :)

Lol, It's going to be a reef, and No, those are Not my tank lights.... Those are for my shelves on each side. I'm thinking glass shelves to match a glass tank?......

Lol I was wondering how those lights were going to work on a reef tank

The glass shelves sound like a cool idea.

Looks great! Only suggestion/question I would have is are you sure you have enough outlets? I see you put one up high, which is a great idea. And I am not saying that you do not have enough...but there is no better time to add more power than you think you might ever need then when your walls are wide open :). I am about to start on my in wall, and I plan to have a few extra plugs put in just to be safe. Seems like I am always looking for an extra one.

Ok, I tried to mention the shower take over Idea to the Mrs....It was not a good conversation. At least not good for the project anyways. But there wasn't ever an official "No". I understood that simply as 'I didn't have enough charisma to my argument', I've got some time still before plumbing begins, we'll see.

I mentioned the idea before, but I want to find a way to have all my power up high in a cabinet, "above" and out of the way, of the water line to avoid any risk. I want to run power jumpers from there to all my equipment. The plan was to take over the shower in the room behind, but for now that's just a theory. I have to acquire the shower first......But I think with a couple of DJ power controllers up there jumping off the one outlet I'd be fine. That whole wall has a direct feed line straight to the breaker box.
