Got the tank drilled. I didn't have the spine to do it myself, thankfully I know a very skilled shop owner who does.

glass shelves show dust and if tank is pristine so will shelves need to be and not sure the wife will like the dusting twice as much as normal...and glass cost more so you could do extras with savings from glass

Been busy for a bit. Sorry for the lack of updates. Cabinet doors were next on the list. I managed to create these little beauties out of 1/4 inch ply cut into strips and glued them together with wood clamps. No nails were harmed in the making of these doors. ;D I'm going with the glass look, ( I know Buds, it's gonna take some work keeping them looking as good as my tank, but I think it'll be worth it in the end ::) ) I've decided to go with frosted glass for the doors and clear for the shelves, just have to find a well priced glass shop. So far the best estimate comes out to $250.oo for the custom cuts. And I didn't even mention it was for a fish tank!! I found some frosted glass paint in a can I may try out and then just order all clear. I have to try it out first though. More pics to come.
